Welcome to our website.  This site is for informational purposes only as promulgated by the Homeowners’ Association Board and/or its authorized agents. The Board of Directors is a duly authorized and empowered governing body of residents who manage community assets as set forth in its governing documents. Accordingly, this website, its content and on-going operation is the direct responsibility and voice of Heatherridge South.

The Heatherridge South (HRS) website is a living, breathing entity, with the sole purpose to inform residents and visitors about our community. It includes historical information, procedural material, and current events as broadcasted in its News Alerts and Newsletters. With the continued growth of telecommunications via cable, satellite, and Internet, this website was created to take advantage of those technologies to better serve residents and guests, especially during trying times and circumstances.

The grid-locking snowfalls of March and April 2003 brought Metro-Denver to a halt, including our community’s roads, services and communications. Residents didn’t know when roads would be opened, local services restored, or ongoing actions by the Board and its property management company (Westwind). The only means then available to instantaneously inform residents was the Internet, except HRS did not have a Website.  During those debilitating storms, information was literally distributed person to person leaving much to be desired.

The home computer is not as ubiquitous as the telephone, but it is getting there.  Access to the Internet or email services has moved beyond being a privileged toy of techies.  It has become a common-place tool to many, and is quickly rising to the level of a necessity.  Accordingly, HRS will become increasingly dependent upon communications via its Website, and residents without Internet services will need to acquire access and use it, or rely upon friends and neighbors for help.
